Capital Novus Director Kirit Palsana along with India BD Team Ravi Thakor & Harsh Lodhi attended the CPhI’s 5th Annual Pharma IPR conference which happens to be the biggest IP platform for Intellectual Minds that meets and discusses the new facets, key current issues and way forward for the Pharma Industry. The Conference focused on understanding the Patent and Intellectual Property (IP) laws of over 15 countries such as USA, Europe, Brazil, Africa, India, Australia and Japan amongst others and its implications on the Indian Pharma Industry. The Conference also covered case study discussions on Pharma and Bio Pharma Patents and panel discussions by dignitaries on IP strategies for Complex Generics in US and Moving Indian Pharma Industry into Innovation.

In this year’s edition, the Conference introduced an exclusive ‘MOOT COURT SESSION’, a simulated court room experience wherein Patent Attorneys discussed the litigation issues in detail plus the nuances of actual proceedings to help attendees achieve in depth understanding of Legal Challenges in IPR.

Capital Novus was invited for Big Data & Analytics Workshop held at ITM Universe, Baroda on 28th Feb’16. Jagdish Vasani went as a Guest Speaker to share his views on Application of Big Data & Analytics.

On, 12th  February, 2016, Capital Novus India BD staff Ravi Thakor, attended The Grand Master 3.1, A Corporate Counsel Legal Best Practice Summit at  Le Meridian, New Delhi. The event was organized by Witness Magazine in association with SILF (Society of Indian Law Firms). The Grand Masters Series is one the most sought after series when it comes to the country’s most influential corporate counsel get together to brain storm on topical issues and challenges that a General Counsel’s desk comes across on a daily basis. The Summit focused on certain pre identified set of topical issues and challenges that the corporate counsel community has been facing in order to ensure his/her role being implemented successfully. The summit was attended by Prestigious Law Firms across India and General Counsels of Indian Multi-National Corporations.

On 6th February, 2016, Capital Novus Director Kirit Palsana was invited by AMA (Ahmedabad Management Association) as a Speaker to ‘21st Innovation Conference, Innovation & Growth’ to speak on ‘Technology Innovation for Legal Risk Mitigation & Governance’.  The Conference was organized to focus on innovation as an engineer for organizational growth for its sustainability and impact.

On, 7th to 9th January, 2016, Capital Novus CEO Dharmesh Shingala along with India Director Kirit Palsana & India BD staff Ravi Thakor, Harsh Lodhi & Tonmoy Kaushik attended 8th GIPC (Global Intellectual Property Convention) at  JW Marriot, New Delhi. The event was attended by 400+ IP Professionals from 25+ Countries to ensure value addition to the field at large by way of knowledge sharing.

GIPC is an annual meeting platform for Board-level IP managers, IP regulators and policy makers, as well as IP experts, litigators, investors and their advisers in a dialogue designed to discuss best practices and solutions to enhance IP management strategies.

Terms and conditions for training courses

I will abide to follow following terms and conditions once registering a course with Institute of Forensic Science, Gujarat Forensic Sciences University in association with Capital Novus,

1. Face-to-face courses normally run with a suitable minimum of participants. Should a course be cancelled because of shortage of participants, you will be offered a place on an alternative course or a full refund of fees paid.
2. Confirm that you are willing to participate fully in the course.
3. Agree to pay the relevant fees.
4. Agree not to distribute the work or material or lecture notes or any other related to this course (online or hard copy) without permission in written from Institute of Forensic Science, Gujarat Forensic Sciences University.
5. Agree to take full responsibility for your actions and opinions.
6. Confirm that you have, or are willing to secure access to, relevant materials where the course necessitates this.
7. All courses must be completed within stipulated time decided by the Institute of Forensic Science, Gujarat Forensic Sciences University and if fail to complete within stipulated time or fail to attend regular theory and / or practical session , admission will be cancelled and to continue, fees need to be paid.
8. Refunds will not be payable after a course has been started.
9. While registering the course, candidate must provide an accurate and complete postal address, contact telephone number and e-mail address. We may refuse or cancel your enrolment if you do not supply these. Your details will not be used for any purpose other than the efficient and effective running of Real Group Ltd.
10. If circumstances arise that are beyond our control, it may be necessary from time to time to change/cancel course dates, content, venues and prices from those published. Whilst we will make every effort to transfer your booking to the next available course at your preferred venue, it should be noted that we will not be held liable for any costs/losses incurred as a result of any such changes. If we are no longer able to provide your course, we will ask you to return any course materials to us (at our expense) in the condition as originally delivered to you and refund to you any fees paid to date when we receive the materials as required.
11. The majority of correspondence with and from Real Group Ltd is conducted electronically using e-mail and web-based protocols. Your details will be added automatically to our database. Your details will not be passed to any third party without your permission, unless requested by law or a similar authority.
